Important information about making payments to the emergency account.

Due to a transition to a new financial administration, payments via the emergency account NL04INGB0000361564 are automatically offered to our financial administration.

To make an urgent payment, use the payment reference for the current month.

The payment reference for the current month of May can be found on the payment term notice for the month of April.

If you submit a declaration to be paid in cash, you will find the payment reference for that declaration in the TAX message (UTB).

* Payments with a correct payment reference are automatically linked to the correct claim.
* Payments with an incorrect payment reference or a payment reference chosen by yourself will not be processed automatically. This requires a manual action to process the payments and link them to the correct claim. This means a longer processing time.
* In the case of a collective payment, intended for declarations to be paid in cash, it is not possible to write it off against several outstanding amounts. Therefore, pay per declaration, with a correct payment reference.

We kindly ask you to submit the urgent payment or payment for the cash declaration with a correct payment reference so that the processing of your payment and, if applicable, the increase of your security can proceed smoothly.

NB: Completion to the new financial administration is expected in June. All payments are then immediately processed in our administration. This also cancels the added value of the account on which you make the urgent payments / declarations to be paid in cash. This will therefore be cancelled. From that moment on, all payment transactions with Dutch Customs will take place via account number NL42INGB0000064933. The exact date and additional information regarding this change will be communicated to you through this channel in a timely manner.
