Pre-declaration in DMS? State the AEO authorisation number!

AEO authorisation holders receive a message when submitting a pre-declaration in AGS if the declaration is selected for inspection. DMS also offers this service. You will however need to enter the AEO authorisation number.

Enter the AEO authorisation number under data element 1212 000 000.

This applies to the following declarations:

• D: filing of a standard customs declaration (referred to under code A) with Article 171 of the Code
• E: filing of a simplified declaration (referred to under code B) with Article 171 of the Code
• F: filing of a simplified declaration (referred to under code C) with Article 171 of the Code

If the authorisation number is not filled in, you will not be notified, but the declaration may still be selected for inspection.
