Proof of Union Status (PoUS) availability is limited

The availability of the process Proof of Union Status (PoUS) is limited from Friday 28-08-2026 11:16.

Unfortunately, some users are still experiencing issues when using PoUS, particularly when uploading files. In the meantime, several fixes have been implemented.

These appear to have reduced the impact of the issue, but unfortunately, the disruption has not yet been fully resolved. The analysis and further investigation of the issue are still ongoing. This is an issue that is being investigated at European level.

The Dutch Customs Administration remains fully involved and is committed to finding a structural solution. We will keep you informed of any further developments.

PoUS declarants without an ACP authorization can complete the application electronically and email the attachment(s) to douane.dbr.frontoffice.reeweg@douane.nl.

PoUS declarants with an ACP authorization may use the contingency procedure.
