DMS Further information on validation on non-tax measures for MAX submission messages IIAA

As of November 2, 2024, DMS will validate MAX presentation messages using the Tariff System for non-fiscal measures.
There is an exception for presentation messages with requested regulation 71, placement of goods under the customs warehouse regulation.

If the MAX submission messages do not conform to the prohibitive or restrictive measures applicable in the Tariff System, DMS will not accept the submission message.
As a result, a MAX application message can be rejected immediately if, for example, a veterinary or phytosanitary certificate is missing.

Previously, IIAA submission messages were not validated for non-fiscal measures using the Tariff System. This will change as of November 2.

This functionality will be available on the Business Test Environment (BTO) from October 28. Here you can test messaging with DMS.
