Message handling after unavailability of DMS

When Customs reactivates the message flow after planned or unplanned downtime, we first process the declarations still in the queue.
For declarations with more than 50 article lines, we process them at a reduced rate after restarting the system. We do this to restore the Customs IT landscape to its normal operational state as quickly as possible.
This necessary procedure when starting up the declaration processing is separate from the temporary limit on the maximum number of article lines per declaration. We plan to increase the number of article lines from 250 article lines per declaration to 400 article lines per declaration on Tuesday, May 14. We are constantly monitoring the declaration process and configuring system settings based on advancing insight so that Customs can process declarations as quickly as possible.
