Repost: Digipoort Migration Program: Newsletter 4 d.d. 3 feb 2020

Digipoort Migration Program
Newsletter 4, 3 February 2020

Customs is working on a new gateway for the electronic messaging between the business community and the government; The Trade and Transport Gateway (HTG).
That means that all users of the current Digipoort Trade & Transport (H&T) and Single window for Maritime and Air must connect to the HTG before June 30, 2020

The migration to the HTG is divided into plateaus. For plateau 1, the preparatory work has been completed, the HTG has been released for production and we gradually started connecting de first clients to plateau 1.

Start
In January a start was made with the new connections of the first clients of plateau 1.
In plateau 1 the logistic flows of Customs (AGS, CID, EMCS and NCTS) are converted.
The first connections to pre-production have been realised.

Matter of Attention
If you use an SMPT-MSA/POP3 interface, you must use the TLS version 1.2 for the TLS connection for the HTG, as stated in newsletter nr. 2.

Schedule
In February 2020 a start will be made on creating the connections to the HTG production environment. In the upcoming months the number of connections per month will increase steadily. The planning foresees that all connections are realised June 30, 2020 at the latest.

  • February 2020: start connections to plateau 1, AGS, CID, EMCS en NCTS
  • March 2020: start connections to plateau 2, the single window message flow
  • April 2020: start connections to plateau 3, the NVWA message flow
  • June 30, 2020: all clients are connected to the HTG

Information services
Newsletter 3 extensively informs you about the various steps in the connection process and about the e-mails you receive from the mailbox noreply@htg-migratie.nl.

For more information, please go to the National Customs Helpdesk https://www.nhdouane.nl/, to the HTG Community. Recognisable by the HTG button. This is the Community where Customs places all the technical information such as specifications for messages and interfaces, schedules, newsletters and news items. The advice is to companies that offer hubs, deliver software to third parties or that build their own software to regularly check this HTG Community.

We will inform you periodically about the progress of the migration from Digipoort H&T to the HTG. The next newsletter will appear in March 2020.

Connection requests from new clients
New requests for a connection to the logistic flows for Customs (AGS, CID, EMCS, and NCTS) will be processed immediately as of January 2020. This is a step in the transfer of management from Logius to Customs.
